Traumatic experiences happen every day, even at CU. Friends, families and mentors are often the first to be told about these experiences. Join this workshop to learn how to respond, support survivors and seek support. This session will also include information for responsible employee requirements and compliance for reporting instances.
心理健康急救 training is designed to help individuals assist someone experiencing mental health or substance use concerns or crises. Participants will learn about risk factors and warning signs, 参与体验活动, discuss professional and self-help resources and practice a 5-step strategy to provide support. 心理健康急救 for high education provides tailored information for college and university communities.

Employees can engage in a number of training opportunities, including new courses that focus on mental health and student support.
This course provides a brief overview of mental health support. Participants will gain an understanding of why mental health is important, how it can impact academic and job success and support resources that are available. You will also learn to recognize signs of distress, respond effectively and refer someone to appropriate resources.
This 3-hour workshop builds on the Skills for Mental 健康 Support Skillsoft training course. This course provides additional time to help staff and faculty practice what they’ve learned, engage in hands-on experiences and ask additional questions.
先决条件: Participants must have completed Skills for Mental 健康 Support before completing this training.
